Roots

A little hotel lobby restaurant, Roots, in the Orchard Hotel on Bush, is a perfect quiet get-away from the busy streets of San Francisco.  The moment you enter the lobby you are greeted by a Feng Shui relaxing fountain and Jason, your server.  I had a Londer pinot noir that paired perfectly with the five-spice short ribs over creamy polenta.  Great food, good wine list and great service.  Menu and wine pairings created by Chef Garret Martindale.
